Red Carpet: our new Signature Cocktail List

Our Cocktail List takes you to the cinema to discover five films that inspired our original cocktails, created by our mixologist Luca Scrimenti.

In Italy, good food and good drinks are much more than a mere habit: they are a ritual, an art, a moment to share.

At Obicà, we have always celebrated tradition and quality, carefully selecting the best ingredients to bring authentic and unforgettable experiences to the table.

Today, this passion comes to life in a new form: Red Carpet, the exclusive cocktail list created by our mixologist Luca Scrimenti, inspired by five great films that have depicted Italy and Italians from different perspectives.

Each drink is a journey through flavours and cinematic suggestions, allowing you to relive the emotions of a great film comfortably seated at an Obicà table.

The five original cocktails from Red Carpet are available starting Wednesday, April 2nd, at Obicà Duomo and Obicà Cusani in Milan, Obicà Firenze, Obicà Parlamento in Rome, and Obicà Torino.

Take a seat and get comfortable: the show is about to begin!

Red Carpet - the Great Beauty

La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty)
Paolo Sorrentino - 2013

The sumptuous and hyperbolic portrayal of contemporary Italy from this Academy Award-winning film is transformed into a drink perfect for Roman high society, made with Campari infused with Wild Strawberries, Pink Grapefruit Cordial, Prosecco Cinzano DOC and Caramelised Grapefruit.

Red Carpet - Marrakech Express

Marrakech Express
Gabriele Salvatores - 1989

A cross-cultural encounter on an adventurous road trip by Gabriele Salvatores finds its synthesis in an exotic mix of Aperol macerated with Mango and Papaya, Lime-infused Vodka, Pineapple and Karkadè Cordial and Lime Juice sweetened with Vanilla.

Red Carpet - Time for Loving

Sapore di Mare (Time for Loving)
Carlo Vanzina – 1983

Gin Malfy con Limone, Cucumber Cordial, Lime Juice, Anise-flavoured Soda representing the fresh and nostalgic tale of a typical Italian summer.

Red Carpet - The Postman

Il Postino (The Postman)
Michael Radford – 1994

The cultural and sentimental education of a simple and genuine character in the everlasting performance by Massimo Troisi is encapsulated in a cocktail that tastes of poetry and Mediterranean sunsets, created with Tequila macerated with Lime, Honey Mix, Lime Juice, Sambuca Drops and Fresh Basil.

Red Carpet - My Friends

Amici Miei (My Friends)
Mario Monicelli – 1975

A drink symbolizing friendship: a pitcher of Sangria with Abraxas Sicilia Nero d’Avola DOC macerated with Wild Fruits and Spices, ideal for taking a break from “zingarate” (pranks), just like in Monicelli's legendary film.

Whether you want to rediscover the refinement of La Grande Bellezza, the exoticism of Marrakech Express, the carefree spirit of Sapore di Mare, the poetic simplicity of Il Postino, or the camaraderie of Amici Miei, our new original cocktails await you for a journey between cinema and mixology.
