On Saturday, June 22nd, and Sunday, June 23rd, indulge in the smooth jazz melodies of the marvelous Mafalda Minnozzi while enjoying our exquisite Italian specialties and classic brunch dishes.
The Peperoncino Jazz Festival, which began 18 years ago in Calabria, Italy, is a traveling music festival that celebrates the connections between regional identity, culture, and sustainable tourism through Jazz and Bossa Nova music.
At Obicà Flatiron, Mafalda Minnozzi will perform her show Impronta Latina - Italian for “Latin Imprint”- showcasing her international career with original jazz arrangements created with guitarist and musical director Paul Ricci.
On June 22nd, Mafalda will be joined by visionary percussionist Mauro Refosco, and on June 23rd, by renowned musician, author, and educator David Schroeder on saxophone and other innovative instruments.
