Obicà turns 20!

Let’s celebrate together the 20th anniversary from the opening of our first Mozzarella Bar in Rome in April 2004.

In April 2004 we opened Obicà Parlamento, the restaurant where the history of our brand began, named by the New York Times "the world's first Mozzarella Bar."

Today, 20 years later, in our 24 restaurants we continue to be spokesmen for Italian quality in Italy and abroad, from Milan to Rome, from London to New York City, from Istanbul to Tokyo.

The time has come to celebrate this major milestone together with all of you, our customers, who have known, appreciated and supported us over the years.

The celebration of our 20th Anniversary begins with a special food programme, a series of Anniversary Specials that will accompany you until the end of the year. And the first Anniversary Special could only be a tribute to Mozzarella di Bufala, since 2004 the queen of our gastronomic proposal, which we offer in an unprecedented version, ideal for sharing: the Buffalo Milk Figliata with Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP Bites.

The Figliata will be waiting for you in all our restaurants from Friday, April 12th until the end of May, either accompanied by Salumi, Focaccia, Pesto and Caponata, or served on its own, to give you the chance to pair it with your favorite Obicà dishes.

Well, what would be a celebration without a toast?

So here it is Viaggio in Italia, the new Cocktail List created by our bartender Luca Scrimenti to celebrate these 20 Years of Obicà with a journey through the six Italian cities where our restaurants are located: six drinks featuring Italian quality, each made with a symbolic ingredient from the city.

We are just at the beginning of the celebrations for this 20th Anniversary: more surprises will arrive in the coming months to continue celebrating together throughout 2024!
